| Back & Flank Liposuction
Upper back rolls and "love handles" can be
treated with liposuction to improve these areas. Often combined
with liposuction of the abdomen and other areas as well as
abdominoplasty, liposuction of the back and flanks complements
body contouring procedures. Skin quality is sometimes a limiting
factor when excessive looseness of the skin exits. Small one
quarter of an inch incisions are made in several areas of the
back and flanks for removal of fat with cannulas. Compression
garments may be worn post op and are helpful to reduce post op
swelling. Examples of back and flank liposuction are shown.
