Patients who have mild skin laxity which may exist after pregnancy or weight gain with subsequent weight loss are the best candidates for this procedure. Internal suturing may or may not be required, and the need for this depends on the patient’s desires and anatomical considerations. Again, total truncal rejuvenation is the goal when all of these procedures are combined. This procedure is generally done as an outpatient procedure, meaning the patient returns home the same day of surgery.
